Christmas is Coming & A Giveaway!

Christmas is exactly 7 weeks from today! I know many of you have Christmas pictures scheduled, Santa visits planned, Christmas parties to attend, and many other holiday events on your calendars. With that in mind, I want to update you on the expected ship dates of our Christmas Pre-Orders.

Our Christmas Angel Dress and our And To All A Good Night collection will be the next to ship. I anticipate them heading to you on Thursday, November 9th. Then, our Woodland collection should ship on Friday, November 10th and Monday, November 13th. (Side note--just this past weekend the dress sold out in size 8. The longall and shirt are also sold out in multiple sizes. Don't wait if this collection is on your wishlist).

Next up is our Santa Loungewear including the matching doll sets. WOW! It may take us 3 months to ship all of these to you. Just Kidding! My team is the best (truly, y'all--I am so blessed). Shipping these will be a major undertaking, but I anticipate having all orders shipped by November 15th. :)

Rounding out our Christmas Pre-Orders are the following collections: Smocked Nativity, Country Christmas, Green Gingham, Red Knit Loungewear, and Smocked Milk and Cookies. I don't have exact ship dates for these collections, but they are due to ship to us this week, and I anticipate ALL orders shipping by Tuesday, November 21.

Are you still with me? I know that was a lot! Before moving on to the giveaway, let me add there are lots of IN STOCK Christmas collections as well. Smocked Santa, Smocked Nutcracker, and Gingham Tree to name a few. All of these will ship immediately.

Now for the Giveaway! It's VERY simple to enter. Just leave a comment sharing about one of your favorite holiday traditions. I'll go first. Every Christmas Eve we throw a party for my husband's side of the family. While the actual party is always fun, preparing for it with my husband and children is my favorite. The tradition of cooking together, pulling out our special Christmas dishes, listening to Christmas music...I just love it. Is it messy? Yes. Is it a ton of work? Yes. Does it bring me unmeasurable joy? Yes, Yes, Yes!  :) My Smocked Milk and Cookies collection was actually inspired by this holiday favorite of mine.

I look just like this sweet boy when someone hands me a cookie! ;)

Now it's your turn! What is one of your favorite holiday traditions? Leave a comment, and you'll be entered into a giveaway for a $20 shop credit! Winner will be announced here on Friday, November 10th.

Thanks for stopping by!

XO, Jessie

UPDATE: Congratulations to Molly Aguirre! I used a random number generator, and you are the winner of the $20 shop credit! Look for an email this weekend. :)

Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a comment. I have loved reading about your special traditions. What a wonderful time of the year!

My favorite tradition when I was growing up was going to go and cut down our Christmas tree as a family. My entire family would get our winter coats, snow pants, hats and mittens on (I grew up in Buffalo, New York) and go to Donaldson’s Tree Farm to find the perfect tree. Of course we all had our choices and would argue over which one was the best. My dad and brother would cut down the tree once we all were able to agree on one. We did this every year together (even when my siblings and I were in our 20s). Now, my husband and I continue this tradition with our daughter and my parents here Virginia…there is a lot less snow but the magic of Christmas is still present.

My family tradition growing up as the eldest of 6 siblings was watching Rudolph and A Chsritmas Storiy. We can all recite all the words to those classics! Now that I have my only family with our little 2 year old I have been collecting all the Rudolph outdoor character lights for the yard so may daughter can be just as excited as we were growing up with Rudolph , Hermie, and Bumble this year and many years to come. I can’t wait until they shine bright in our yard for her and all the other kids and families to enjoy this holiday season!!! Thanks for all the fabulous dresses for Maisie I can’t wsit for her to wear them all to church and to see Sanata this year. Have a fabulous holiday and o hope everyone keeps their traditions going! Happy Holidays and God Bless!!!! Harmony McCulley

Every Christmas Eve, we go to church for our candlight service. Then we put on our Christmas pajamas and pick a favorite Christmas movie to watch. We pop popcorn and have hot chocolate. Although, sometimes it ends up being ice cream since we live in south Texas! Then we read read “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” and put the children in bed. Then my husband and I stay up late and get all of the Christmas presents ready for Christmas morning. I love watching my children come down the stairs on Christmas morning to see all of their Santa surprises!

So many favorite traditions! Christmas Eve service, sleeping in the same room as my sister, oyster stew (yuck!) Christmas morning, everyone opening gifts one at a time, driving around looking at Christmas lights, rushing to grandparents’ houses… With my own family, we have started the tradition of baking Jesus a birthday cake Christmas Eve and wearing matching pajamas Christmas morning! Can’t wait to start more traditions as my kids get older!

My grandmother used to make homemade gingerbread houses for my siblings and I. She put the whole kit together and then brought them over for an afternoon of building our dream gingerbread houses! Those are my favorite holiday memories. Time spent with siblings and my grandparents – sweet and simple (with tons of yummy gingerbread and candy ;)). Now, my mom makes the homemade gingerbread and it will be my daughters first experience with this tradition this year. We can’t wait!
